Life Insurance Guide

Many of my friends have asked me for advice since I started my journey on getting my Life Insurance License. Sometimes the information I give them is volumous and overwhelming and many times they are unable to explain their current coverage. So in the hopes of providing a better level of understanding of the different types of insurance and their differences I am making available "A guide to life Insurance." This brochure is published by the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association Inc. and is vendor neutral ensuring partiality on my part.

As a future agent I wish to state to my future clients that I will always put them first and will take a consultative approach to the process ensuring that their needs come before my own. I am not just entering into this business to sell people a product, I am interested in helping them mitigate risk and establish a solid financial foundation which will benefit their families for years to come.

It is with this mentality that I urge you not to make any financial decision until you fully understand it and it makes sense to you. For my fellow Christians I would urge you to seek out biblical principles that will help you become good stewards with what the Lord has provided. One great resource that I have come across is Tom Copland’s Financial Ministries which can be accessed at http://www.biblefinance.org/.

If you would like to receive the guide, review your current coverage or simply ask questions, please feel free to email me at edgarschuchardt@gmail.com.

What to invest in that always pays.

As I am studying to become a financial advisor I realize that I already know the true meaning of wealth before ever picking up a book. Over the past few years I have had the privilege to meet and work with numerous people in outreach and the community. Watching these individuals has brought new perspective on what is important to me and those around me. Although money can accomplish much in the right hands, it is the hands and in fact the person who matters most. What I have learned is that there are two types of investment, monetary and real. And what I mean by real, is investment in people. This is not necessarily done through money, but always with great care and concern. I have seen many with much and yet their human investment and return, amount to so little. Never has one penny brought me comfort or eased a burden, but the friends and family I have bring great joy and peace. I have witnessed those wanting with little money, reap mountains of human interest and received the dividend of love and compassion. In the end I understand that the human investment is a greater and smarter choice everytime. An example of this is our Converge pastor, whom everyone lovingly calls Jan. She is an expert on investing in people and if you ever see her with our group, you would know that the care she is sowing is growing and will become a great dividend when it is needed in the future. If you were to ask many of her flock, they would say that they would do almost anything for her. Money would become no object and that is the moral, to invest wisely one must not just look at dollars and sense but the human factor. What you invest in, is just as, if not more important than simply investing.
